The Forestry First Aid +F qualification is 2 hours course and is ideal for those who work or intend to work in a forestry, agricultural or remote environment, such as tree surgeons and farmers.
Successful learners be equipped with the knowledge and practical skills needed to treat a range of injuries and diseases that could occur in these environments, such as Lyme disease and catastrophic bleeding.
Designed to be undertaken in conjunction with either the Level 2 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work or the Level 3 First Aid at Work, this qualification meets the recommendations of the First Aid a Work Forestry Commission Policy and also confirms a learners ability to meet a 'licence to practice' as determined by the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981, making it perfect for those operating in a wide range of workplaces.
Our courses are designed for 3 - 12 people and for your convenience are run on site at your premises. If you do not have a venue available please contact us as we can often arrange a suitable training room in your area.
