This comprehensive 4 hour course covers the core competencies of the UK Resuscitation Council and is designed to instruct the students in the use of an AED. Ensuring that the students have the skills and knowledge to deal with this type of situation competently and effectively.
Recognising and dealing with an individual experiencing a cardiac arrest promptly can make all the difference to the outcome. A cardiac arrest can happen to anyone, anywhere, at any time. A person's chance of survivlal falls by about 10% for each minute that passes without debfibrillation. The risk of death can be reduced if you have a defibrillator in your workplace and know how to use it.
Defibrillators are very simple to operate and no previous training is required to attend this course.
The course is Ofqual regulated.
